Laser mapping at the m1 Studio

We have been experimenting with the built-in tools with our Pangolin Beyond software. This took a few days to draw and sequence the effects to music. Joey drew the shapes by hand and traced many elements in our back stage area. It’s kind of a process, but our next step is to get something more automated using computer vision machine-learning libraries combined with TouchDesigner. Our goal is to track users in the space and change the music/sound effects and laser patterns based on movement.

It’s a fun demo to have in the studio and we can’t wait to show it off in person. If you have a need for lasers at your event, please call or email us for a demo.
